As I mentioned in a recent post entitled Doing Well By Doing Good, I donate my services to non-profit groups that support our veterans.
One of those groups is Mission: Entrepreneur, where I was formerly the volunteer Director of Communications.
That group’s mission is to Inspire, Encourage and Support Veterans to Grow, Build and Scale Successful Businesses.
The goal is to create an army of successful “Vetrepreneurs.”
Last month we held a very successful event at George Washington University.
Semper Startup featured seven world-class speakers, mentor matching, a Veteran Shark Tank competition, success stories, power networking – and me as emcee.
In my opening remarks I told a story about a very special Vetrepreneur I once had the privilege to know, Phyllis Sally Tobias.
I hope you’ll be able to find 4:14 to watch this short video to learn more about Mission: Entrepreneur, Semper Startup and Toby.
