Books have the power to change lives.
Last Wednesday, my client Chaim Ekstein, the author of Escape From The Prison of Comfort & Create The Life Of Your Dreams, forwarded me a message he had received from a reader that included this sentence:
“Through this book, I realized how much I matter to God and how much he wants me to succeed.”
On Saturday, another author I worked with, Dan Zitofsky, posted an Instagram video of an encounter he had in Nashville with a perfect stranger who had read his book, Passive To Prosperous.
Douglas recognized Dan from his cover photo and stopped to thank him for sharing his story. As a young man just starting out, he said that he found inspiration in learning about Dan’s early struggles.
Yesterday afternoon, I spent 40 minutes on the phone with a reader of my book, Digital Media Positioning, who had reached out to tell me how much it had transformed his thinking regarding a streaming video startup he is launching. He’s already read the book cover-to-cover three times.
