When was the last time you engaged with a drip?
I’m not talking about the president of the AV Club back in the 7th Grade (me!)
I mean a Drip Marketing Campaign, when did you last engage with one of them?
The correct answer is, “Right Now!”
You see, this blog post is part of my ongoing drip marketing efforts, which include posts I make to my blog, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube accounts.
Drip, drip, drip, they fall out of my content faucet multiple times per month.
Interestingly, not all drips are created equal. In fact, some are much better than others.
According to Adam Urbanski, President of Marketing Mentors, the difference between good drips and bad comes down to four things.
Successful drips are:
- Different
- Relevant
- Inciteful
- Profitable
Good drips are Different, unique to the dripper (me). They should always be Relevant to the needs of the drippee (you). Exceptionally good drips Incite you to take action.
And, above all else, the very best drips are those that drive Profitability for both of us.
Based on those four criteria, how would you rate the quality of your drips?
Give me a call if you think they need some help.
